One of the premier events for lovers of Idaho wine is just a month away. The ninth annual "Sippin' in the City" takes place Thursday, November 7, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. and tickets are going fast.
Billed as a different type of wine tasting, Sippin' takes its guests on a 360-degree tour of the senses. In addition to wine, some of Idaho's most innovative culinary artists serve up sweet and savory creations, while local musicians add to the festive ambiance.
As in previous years, a selection local Idaho wineries will serve up old favorites and preview the fruits of their harvest season. For wine enthusiasts of all levels, the night presents a rare opportunity to meet with the passionate and talented people behind some of the state's best bottles.
New this year is the return to a magnificent venue worthy of the occasion – the historic Linen Building, a 100-year-old architectural spectacle right in the heart of the revitalized Linen District downtown.
To commemorate the evening, all 225 guests will receive a glass for sampling and then to carry home. Get your tickets to this glittering evening and have your fill of the best wine and food in Boise before it's all filled up.
